CONCEPTUAL

The box of transience

Clocks are put into a glass box, as the clocks are a symbol of time passing, and a glass box as a symbol of  of closed, firm, inert space in which we are trapped. We can't stop nor slow down the time; it goes relentlessly, and we can't go away from closed and inert social environment, which is yet so hard to change. We are levitating in status quo, accapting it as it is - aestetically beautiful, but cold and empty.

Christmas prayer

This photo is a part of series of photographies which present a study of personality. She is in the moment of her deap prayer, deep inside her spiritual world, like Virgin Mary. Her face shows how calm, tranquil she is, like someone shut out of this mortal world, somewhere above it. It's just she there, and light which outlines her face in the dark.

Hand in the sand

Hand is making a trace in the sand. But this trace will exist a very short period. A soon as the wind comes, there will no be anymore the trace in the sand, nor hand. All beautiful moments are blown off fast as wind, and stays only memory.

Hearts made of glass

This photo is made using technique of lightpainting. On a CD are instilled drops of water and the CD is exposed with directional light source (flashlight, laser...) through the filter and without filter, in a dark room with a long exposure time of the camera. A heart is created by merging two symmetrical halves of a CD. No other photo editing has been done.

Hyperinformationed clock

Photo shows overfilling with usually irrelevant informations in different media. We can't choose anymore really do we want them or not. They are just popping out in front of us wherever we go. The clock is just counting how long can we stand it like this.

Alienation in the city

An assignment in Art photography class was to take a photo of one-point perspective. These solution of one-point perspective represents my vision of life in big city - no colors, alienated people, invisibility, irrelevance of individual who disappears in the crowd.

Sharp tongue

Tongue is a very powerful weapon. It can be very sharp and harmful. It can hurt and even kill. It can also be used for good purposes. Like scissors.
